| Best Weather on Earth? - San Diego I would argue that San Jose has superior weather to Oakland, with warmer temperatures, less rain than Los Angeles, and 300 days of sunshine per year. Not that Oakland gets all that much rain either, and certainly less than most places in the United States outside of Southern California or the deserts.
